Peter's Coney Island is a solid little breakfast/ lunch joint on west shore rd in Warwick across and down towards the OB from Vets Jr. High. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and the staff know most of the people they are serving. The menu is basic RI breakfast fare (eggs, omelets, pancakes, home fries etc.) but that's a good thing and Peter's does it very well. On a recent visit with son 1 i enjoyed the 3 eggs over easy, a hefty portion of home fries and sausage patties-great breakfast. son 1 had a Portuguese omelet which came loaded with peppers, onions cheese and spicy Chirico. he was licking the plate.
Its not a big place there are about 16 tables and a breakfast counter so it does fill up but the wait is never very long as the patrons seem to be aware when people are waiting and they move on.
Peter's also has a lunch menu for those days when they are open past noon.Club sandwiches, wieners etc Make sure to check the hours as they close at 12pm on weekends but are open til 7p on Fridays. Try the fish and chips on Friday they are quite popular and the prices at Peter's are very fair. Stop by. -

This food isn't good at all. Although it gains presentation, what you don't see is the cans of corned beef hash and moldy fruit bowls that the local customers complain about weekly. Also, I don't like how the cook doesn't wear gloves!

Food takes forever, service is mediocre. After the waitress takes your order dont expect to see her again until she drops the check.

Great breakfast and the waitress was so nice. The price was descent too... Our coffee was always full and thought it was packed, you always get service. Will definitely be back.

Our first time at Peter's will not be our last. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was fresh and delicious. We sat at the counter just before it closed for the day and were one of the last diners to leave. We were impressed how well the staff cleaned the kitchen and service areas after the kitchen closed. It was obvious the the owner take pride in there restaurant! A true local small business, the owner Peter was the chef and his wife was behind the counter.
